Antigo diretor social da entidade, o comunicador Jorge Perlingeiro assume o comando para o próximo triênio.
Segundo a coluna de Bruno Chateaubriand na Veja Rio, a Liesa, Liga Independente das Escolas de Samba, entidade responsável pela organização dos desfiles do grupo especial do Rio de Janeiro, tem um novo presidente para o próximo triênio 2021-2024. Desde 2007, a entidade era presidida pelo economista Jorge Castanheira. A Liesa foi fundada em 1984 e teve como primeiro mandatário Castor de Andrade. Nessa quinta-feira, 18 de março, o dono do bordão “Só se for agora” , o comunicador Jorge Perlingeiro, de 76 anos, assumiu a presidência da entidade.
Entre as propostas da nova gestão estão a troca de local da apuração, que pode migrar para uma casa de shows, com um número definido de torcedores de cada escola e a mudança de horário, com a última nota sendo lida ao vivo, durante um telejornal da TV Globo. “A apuração merece um trato melhor e temos que valorizar o grand finale”, diz o novo presidente.
